Apex Ops provides private security for clients whose risk does not fit a standard guarding contract. We assess the threat before we propose a solution, we deploy trained, PSIRA-registered officers at the grade the task requires, and we manage the risk for as long as we hold the contract. Whether the assignment is a single executive, a commercial site or a public event, the standard is the same.
Security operations
Manned guarding and site security for commercial, industrial and residential premises, with access control, patrols, incident reporting and supervision. Officers are deployed at the PSIRA grade the site demands, from access control to armed site supervision, and every deployment is run from a written post order that we write with you.
Close protection and executive protection
Protection for executives, high-net-worth individuals, families and visitors, at home, at work and in transit. Our close protection officers are PSIRA-registered at the required grade, trained in protective driving and threat assessment, and deployed with the discretion that senior principals expect. Secure transport, residential protection and travel security are available as part of a protection plan or on their own.
Commercial and industrial security
Security for warehouses, distribution centres, factories, mines, construction sites and retail premises, where the threat is theft, collusion, sabotage or industrial action. We combine guarding, technical measures and intelligence, and because we also investigate, we know where the losses on a site usually come from.
Crowds, and the situations nobody plans for.
Planning and staffing for corporate events, conferences, concerts and private functions: crowd management, access control, VIP protection and coordination with venue and emergency services.
Tactical support for high-risk sites and situations, including strike and protest action, reinforcement of existing security during a heightened threat, and rapid deployment to sites experiencing repeated incidents.

We start with the threat: what is at risk, from whom, and how the loss would happen. The assessment is written and it belongs to you.
We propose the mix of people, procedures and technology that addresses the threat at a cost that makes sense, and we say plainly where a cheaper option would leave a gap.
Officers are selected and briefed for the specific site or principal, and they work to written post orders.
Supervision, reporting and regular review keep the deployment matched to a risk that changes.
Compliance
Apex Ops is a PSIRA-registered security service provider [registration number]. Every officer we deploy holds a current registration at the grade the task requires, armed officers hold firearm competency certificates, and firearms are held under the company’s business licence. We comply with the Private Security Industry Regulation Act, the Firearms Control Act and the sectoral determination that governs security officers’ conditions of employment.
