What this policy covers
This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information, and what your rights are under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). It applies to this website and to enquiries made through it.
Information we collect
- Information you give us in the enquiry form: your name, company, email address, telephone number, the service you are interested in and the description of your requirement.
- Information you give us by email, telephone or WhatsApp when you contact us directly.
- Standard technical information collected by our hosting provider, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, used to keep the site secure and available.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and to prepare a proposal or quotation.
- To deliver a service you have engaged us for, and to keep the operational records that a security service provider is required to keep.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including those under the Private Security Industry Regulation Act and the Firearms Control Act.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use enquiry details for marketing unless you ask us to.
The lawful basis
We process enquiry information with your consent, given when you submit the form, and where processing is necessary to conclude or perform a contract with you or to comply with a legal obligation.
Who we share it with
Personal information is shared only where it is necessary: with our own personnel working on your matter, with service providers who host our website and email under written agreement, and with law enforcement, regulators or a court where we are legally required to do so. Investigation material is handled under the terms of the written mandate for that matter.
How long we keep it
