A security company built for the risk South Africa actually presents
Three disciplines, run by one team, to one standard.
Apex Ops is a South African security and investigations company. We escort cargo on the country’s most exposed routes, we investigate fraud, theft and loss for companies that need answers they can act on, and we protect people, premises and events.
Who we are
The company was founded to close a gap that anyone who has bought security in South Africa will recognise. On one side of the market sit the large groups, whose scale comes with a price and a distance from the client. On the other sit thousands of small operators, many of them competent, few of them able to plan, deploy and investigate as a single organisation. Apex Ops was built to do all three at a scale where the people who plan your security are the people who answer the phone.
Leadership
Our strategic managing partner brings more than 25 years of operational experience across [private security, investigations and law enforcement]. [Name and brief credentials]. The company is [owned and directed by] [name and role], an attorney, which is why our investigations are run with admissibility in mind from the first day and why every engagement begins with a written mandate.
How we work
Every engagement follows the same sequence. We gather intelligence on the environment. We plan against the vulnerabilities we find. We deploy the right people and equipment for the job, and we keep control of the risk for as long as the work lasts. The sequence is described in full on our approach page, and it applies whether the job is a single escort on the N3 or a six-month investigation into procurement fraud.
Compliance
Apex Ops is registered with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority as a security service provider [registration number], and every officer we deploy holds a current PSIRA registration at the grade the task requires. Armed operators hold firearm competency certificates, and firearms are held under the company’s business licence. Investigations are carried out under written mandate, within the law, and in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act. Where we are asked to do something we cannot do lawfully, we say so and we decline.
Where we operate
We are based in [City] and we work across South Africa. Escorts run on the N1, N2, N3, N4 and N12 corridors and on regional routes by arrangement. Investigations and protective security are available nationally, with [cross-border escort work into Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Eswatini on request].
One team, one standard.
An escort crew that understands how cargo is stolen. An investigations team that understands how it is protected. A protective security operation planned by people who have seen both.
If you cannot see the bottom of it, start here.
If you are responsible for cargo, for people or for a business that has a problem it cannot see the bottom of, we would like to hear from you.
